We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email), content you upload (videos, images, captions), and information about your connected social media accounts (usernames, access tokens). We also collect usage data such as posts created, platforms connected, and engagement metrics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide the multi-platform posting service, (b) publish content to your connected social media accounts, (c) provide analytics and performance insights, (d) improve our service, (e) communicate with you about your account and service updates, (f) process payments for subscriptions.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your content is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Social media access tokens are encrypted and stored securely. We use Supabase for data storage and Stripe for payment processing. We retain your data as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as required by law.
4. Third-Party Platforms
Distribz integrates with third-party social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) using their official APIs. When you connect an account, you are subject to that platform's privacy policy and terms of service. We do not control these platforms' data practices. Content posted through Distribz becomes subject to each platform's data policies.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time. You can disconnect social media accounts, delete scheduled posts, and request complete account deletion. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: (a) social media platforms you connect to enable posting, (b) service providers like Stripe for payments and Supabase for data storage, (c) law enforcement if required by legal obligation. All third-party services are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice in your dashboard. Your continued use of Distribz after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
